Training and capacity building · CNRS
Digital skills pathway for young people in Ukhiya
Turning a skills gap into a route to remote work on a UNHCR-funded programme.
The challenge. Many young learners had energy and curiosity but no structured way to build job-ready digital skills or find online work.
What I did. Lead advanced ICT training in digital literacy, graphic design, data analysis, social media marketing and AI image and video creation. Mentor learners on Upwork and Fiverr portfolios, proposals and client communication, run skill gain assessments and look after ICT equipment and classroom administration.
The outcome. A clear learning path from the basics to freelancing, with progress tracked through assessments and reported to the project manager.
Vocational training · BITA and Save the Children
Employability training for NEET youths
Skills, guidance and reliable data for a vocational training centre.
The challenge. NEET youths needed technical, green skills and employability support, and the programme needed accurate data to show progress.
What I did. Planned and delivered training sessions, ran the centre day to day, handled certification assessments, collected survey data and maintained trainee databases. Provided career counselling and child rights and safeguarding awareness sessions.
The outcome. Learners completed certified training, and the MEAL team received accurate monthly project data for decisions.
Data analytics · DataTrack 360
From raw data to readable dashboards
Cleaning, modelling and visualising data so decisions come faster.
The challenge. Raw datasets were hard to read and slow to turn into decisions.
What I did. Cleaned and structured data with Python and SQL, managed ETL pipelines, built interactive Power BI and Tableau dashboards and applied machine learning for predictive analysis.
The outcome. Faster, more accurate reporting, with trends that decision makers could read at a glance.
Freelance · International clients
End-to-end projects for clients abroad
Scoping, building and delivering digital work remotely, from idea to handover.
The challenge. Overseas clients needed a dependable partner who could take a project from first idea to final delivery.
What I did. Managed projects end to end from 2021 to 2024 across data visualization, web design and technical consultation, including planning, communication and delivery.
The outcome. Lasting client relationships and a repeatable way of scoping, building and supporting digital work.
Community and events · Data Science Club, DIU
Data science events that connect students to careers
Hackathons, summits and job fairs that bring practical data skills to students.
The challenge. Students needed real exposure to data science and career pathways beyond the classroom.
What I did. As club president I led the executive committee and organized the Data Hackathon, the 3rd Data Science Summit, a Women in Data Science panel, a Workshop on Data Analysis and the Skills to Succeed Job Fair.
The outcome. Events that connected learners with practical skills, mentors and opportunities.
Pro bono · ProZ.com
Language access for humanitarian work
Giving non-profit and humanitarian groups a voice in Bengali.
The challenge. Non-profit and humanitarian initiatives needed accurate translation and interpreting to reach Bengali speakers.
What I did. Work as a native Bengali translator and interpreter on a pro bono basis, supporting language access initiatives.
The outcome. Clearer communication between organisations and the communities they serve.
